I’m really excited to announce this sponsor of Sew a Straight Line’s Earth Week.
“8 Little Coconuts is owned and operated by Christina Ladieu and Carrie Roberts. We are two stay at home moms with a passion for high quality hand made items, crafting, natural living, and our children. We both have 4 children that we love and raise to take care of the Earth. Our "8 Little Coconuts" are our inspiration for the items we craft and create. We are very excited to share these creations with you and hope you enjoy our creations as well.”
8 Little Coconuts is offering Sew a Straight Line readers 15% off of any purchase at their store when you use “Earth Week” at checkout.
In addition, they’re also offering a skein of yarn from their store as a giveaway.
The yarn is BFL approx. 195 yards and the colorway is called Sunrise Over Water. The colors are teal, natural, and orange
To enter, just leave a comment on this post by Midnight Pacific Time on Wednesday, April 21st. I’ll pick a winner at random from the comment entries and announce on Thursday, April 22nd (Earth Day!) morning .
To have 8 Little Coconuts participating in this week is so exciting because this is exactly the kind of stuff I love to buy! Wool pants and the yarn to make them are pretty much an addiction for me. You don’t even want to know how many pairs of woolies we own.
8 Little Coconuts can sell you the yarn to make your own, knit up something adorable with yarn you have, or even just make you the pair of your dreams from their yarn stash. If wool isn’t your thing, they have PJs and other children’s items. So go on over, browse their little shop of wool and other handmade goodness, enter the giveaway, and support a couple of Work at Home Moms.
Go handmade!
To enter for the skein of yarn, just leave a comment by Midnight Pacific Time, 4/21/10 . One entry/comment per person. If you need to leave a second, please delete the first so we can keep things clear and organized for the drawing. Contest open to everyone, I’ll even cover international shipping for you.
And remember “Earth Week” at checkout to receive 15% off.
Thank you, 8 Little Coconuts!

I <3 Carrie Roberts, but what on Earth would I do with a skein of yarn? :0)
I love 8 little Coconuts! They are making me a pair of woolies right now and I am so excited to get them!
My fave 8 little coconuts item is the breast feeding advocacy hats! I'm going to order them for my two granddaughters next winter! I love how Carrie and Christina are taking their love of knitting and sewing and turning it into a business venture! I wish them fantastic success!
Carrie and Christina you ladies are awesome. There are not enough good things I can say about both you ladies. I wish you both the best of luck in your new ventures with 8 Little Coconuts. :D
